Description
This imaginative take on one of our most endearing creatures serves up a lovingly-detailed wall-mounted sculpture for indoor or outdoor enjoyment.
I hand sculpt each using slab and pinch technique using various colored stoneware clays and use different colored stains also that give the piece its coloration. They are all fired to 2300 degrees which makes them hard as stone, and watertight and seals all the colors of the clays ad stains in so it never fads.. I put in special ordered taxidermy eyes after the firings which bring the piece to life.
Each wall head I make has its own personality and this one is sure to make you smile!
