Description
This imaginative take on one of Africa’s most endearing creatures serves up a lovingly-detailed wall-mounted sculpture for indoor or outdoor enjoyment.
I hand sculpt each using slab and pinch technique using different colored stoneware clays. They are all fired to 2300 degrees which makes them hard as stone, and watertight. I put in special ordered taxidermy eyes after the firings which bring the piece to life.
