Description
This imaginative take on one of Africa’s most endearing creatures serves up a lovingly-detailed wall-mounted sculpture for indoor or outdoor enjoyment.
I hand sculpt each using slab and pinch technique using stoneware clay. They are all fired to 2300 degrees which makes them hard as stone, and watertight. I put in special ordered taxidermy eyes after the firings which bring the piece to life. The color is the natural clay itself with stains and will never change.
Each wall head I make has its own personality and this one is sure to make you smile!
