One of a kind, hand sculpted standing hippo that has been fired to 2300 Degrees and becomes hard as stone and water tight so it can withstand any weather.
I love to capture the essence of the hippo, especially in the face as the ears wiggle to it’s own joy at what it sees.
I use pinch and slab technique to make each one free form.
This piece measures 8″h x 6″ w x 15″long
